When attending any activity, please enter by the rear door (there is a parking lot in the back). The front door is often closed for security reasons.

Cabin Fever Game Night

Cabin Fever Game Night

Free family event with plenty of board games and refreshments available. No registration required.

The Importance of Being Earnest

Talisman Players production. There will be five performances held at St. Barnabas Center starting Thursday, 3/21 at 7:00 pm. Ticket information will be available on Talisman’s website https://talismanplayers.com/ and their FaceBook page.

Entering the Passion of Jesus

A free online study group using the book and video “Entering the Passion of Jesus: A Beginner’s Guide to Holy Week”. The group will meet via zoom. To sign up, contact us via our form or on Facebook.

Thank God It’s Thursday

A book study offered jointly with St. Paul’s UCC Church & Trinity Lutheran Church. Sessions will be held St. Paul’s UCC, 47 S. Whiteoak St. Kutztown. The book is available at bookstores and online. No cost for the program. Contact Pastor Kim to register.

The Chosen - Movie Theater Field Trip

The group plans on making three excursions to viewings of Season 4 of The Chosen. Two or three episodes are shown on each date (TBD) If interested in joining us, contact us.

Once A Pawn A Time Chess Club

An all ages and all levels chess club sponsored jointly by the Kutztown Community Library. Instruction for beginners available. We meet 4x monthly at 2 convenient locations. Attend as many or as few sessions as you like.

KOFEE (Kutztown Organized for Educational Excellence)

Kofee is a community initiative in the Kutztown Area School District dedicated to supporting quality public education. From parents to professionals, we unite behind the goal of advocating for equity, a strong curriculum, and an inclusive school environment. Knitting & Crocheting

The Community Crafters (sponsored by Knitters Edge) meets jointly with the slow stitch group, Community Threads. We are making chemo caps, prayer shawls, and items for the Red Scarf Project.

  • No experience is needed. We will teach you!
  • Bring your own needles and yarn.

Breathe and Flow Yoga

This program is currently paused until further notice.

An all levels “Breathe and Flow” style community yoga class. This class focuses on the foundations of yoga and a deeper understanding of the breath.

Sensory Stimulation

This program is currently paused until further notice.

  • Can be used to trigger thoughts, memories, or feelings that would otherwise be buried below the surface.
  • Encourages learning through exploration, curiosity, problem-solving and creativity.
  • Helps build nerve connections in the brain and encourages the development of language and motor skills
  • Anyone who is having a hard time connecting with the world around them can hugely benefit because it allows them to relate in other positive ways.

Mindfulness Walks

  • Helps provided better sleep
  • Improves mood and helps manage stress
  • Open to participants of all ages

Nutrition & Immunity

A special guest speaker, dietician Gabby Balla, will review tips and tricks for staying healthy during these cold months. She will also provide an overview of healthy options available on KU campus and the food pantry. No advance registration needed, no charge.
